my mom met my dad here in the United States, they lived together for a while, then my mom got pregnant with me, my dad thought she would be better with my grandparents in mexico so my mom at 8 months left to sinaloa mexico, while my dad worked here in the United States, i guess he thought it would be easier if we were over there but it wasnt, my mom sufered and every time that my dad would go visit us i would push him away, i didnt like him, why? becuse i didn’t know him, later on my dad would come and visit us every 2 to 3 months until i was 4 years old and my mom had my smaller brother, my dad tried to apply for the residency but it took a while, apearently i got jelous of my dad i thought that he wanted to take my mom away, i actually thought that my uncle was my dad because i would see him everyday, my mom said that i would call my uncle dad instead of my real dad, later on they sat me down and told me that my dad left for the Estados Unidos (United States) i thought that meant a bush with birds i remember that i would hate him because he wanted to be with birds but not with me, then when i was going to turn 5 they told us that we had to go somewhere to get our fingerprints because we were going to live with my dad, i’ve always had some anger against him for not leting me be with him since i was born but now i know that it was because he was trying to make money for us, now i am a U.S. Citizen but i wouldn’t like other kids to go through what i went to i got separated from my dad and i guess i finally had a dad when i turned five years old.
Do kids need to go through with that too?
