Anonymous - Florida

I have been sponsored by my US Citizen Sister in 2001, and I have to wait 12!!! Years to get my visa.

The bill 245i says that I don’t have to leave USA to get the visa, so I have to wait 12 years in US without documents.
In my understanding the law says that: I DON’T HAVE TO LEAVE, BUT I CAN NOT STAY.

I came here legally, I stay here because of the 245i bill - legally, but I can be deported like criminal any time.

I have here lovely family, two American kids, and I feel like an American

I support the border sealing and low enforcement, but the low must be clear, and easy to understand.  It should not be that one bill says that I don’t have to leave, and the other that I cannot stay. How to enforce that low?
